OUR POLICIES (Be advised that this policy is superceded by those at the Creole Dame Bed & Breakfast.
Our policies are for the safety, protection and comfort of the owners and valued guests. We are an adult-oriented property. All accommodations are on the second floor. No elevator, handicap access or Bellhop. Children 13 and older are welcome with a legal guardian 21 years and older. No pets. Our policies may change without notice.
Check In is guaranteed after 4:00pm | Check Out is 11:00am
ARRIVAL TIMES: 4:00PM – 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in time, please contact us directly to make arrangements. Early check-in and late check-out are available at a rate of $15 per hour and must be pre-authorized.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are guaranteed until 8:00pm and will be considered a “no show” unless Creole Dame management has been contacted to make special arrangements. Early check-in and late check-out are available for a fee, based on availability, management discretion and housekeeping schedules. All reservations made through a third-party (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) are guaranteed a specific room type but not a particular room. To be guaranteed a specific room choice, you must book directly at emmajeanretreat.com.
GUESTS: All guests must be registered and hold a valid state issued ID or Driver’s License. A valid credit or debit card is required. Visitors accessing the property are considered guests.
CHILDREN AND PET POLICIES: We welcome children 13 – 17 years old accompanied with an adult 21 years or older. Pets are not allowed due to owner’s allergies.
RATES: Rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. Two-night or three-night minimums apply. The Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment sleeps 2, or up to 4 persons with a fold away bed and portable mattress. Each person after the second guest must pay $30.00 per night.
All reservations are pre-paid in full at the time of booking. Special events and holidays require a minimum stay and are non-transferable, and non-refundable.
PAYMENT METHOD: VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards. NO CASH, Cashier’s Check or Personal/Business Checks (must clear in advance). Prepaid cards are not accepted.
If your credit card is declined, we can only hold the room for 8 hours without payment. After that, we will need to remove the reservation from our system.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund. We cannot accept responsibility in the event of an Act of Nature or unexpected life event.
BREAKFAST: No breakfast included. Breakfast may be purchased for $25.00 per guest/ per night.
PARKING: Guest parking is available for one two-axle vehicle per reservation. Additional guest vehicle parking may be available for a $25 charge. Please contact us for availability.
SMOKING: Emma Jean Retreat a Non-Smoking Property. The retreat has a $350 smoking fine. No smoking, no candles, no vaping, no e-cigarettes, no incense of any kind inside or outside the property, including the exterior property and grounds beyond the city sidewalks.
FIREARM: Firearm is prohibited. Law enforcement and military personnel must contact us in advance for instructions. Violation of this policy will incur a $500 fee.
DRUGS: Illegal drugs are not allowed, including medicinal marijuana. Guests who arrive with the scent of marijuana will be refused service with no refund.
AUTO-COLLECT: At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected along with a $250.00 REFUNDABLE deposit to cover any potential damages or incidental expenses that may occur during the stay. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected.
If evidence of smoking, pets, glitter/confetti or vomit is found in the room, we reserve the right to charge a $500 violation fee.
Guests are required to adhere to all policies and respect our property, and to respect other guests and their property. Failure to comply will result in reservation cancellation with no refund.
We reserve the right to refuse service without explanation.
